Shelbourne Motors is a family run business that has expanded to become one of the largest motor groups in Northern Ireland.
The purpose of the Accounts Assistant is to ensure the smooth running of the finance function. The job holder will be an essential part of a small team providing administrative support to Senior Accounts. Daily duties will involve credit control management for Sales & Purchases, reconciling nominal ledgers, collating & logging all invoices onto the accounts IT system to ensure prompt payment, banking including bank reconciliations, lodgements, receipt and management of all cash along with general administrative duties such as opening, sorting & distributing of post.

• Computer Literacy
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages in particular Excel
• Previous working experience of an Accounts computerised system
Preference will be given to those applicants holding or working towards a relevant qualification, ideally IATI qualified, previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry and working knowledge of the Kerridge/CDK computerised system.
